My Tuesday night started off rather quietly. Billy picked me up from work and we were off!! My Clique decided that we were going to have the night of our lives and we did!! Minus Hari Marie that is. (major shade and side eyes)
It all started after we left Melt. (a cute restaurant in park slope) and it got Turnt Up when we got to Xombie Bar. On my fav Smith Street Strip in Brooklyn of course.
The bartender kept making these dope shots… Mmmmmm
And lighting them on fire!!
Epic Night!!! S.Hutch and I were on the prowl for laughs and Billy, Price Simon and Bianca Lu were getting more wasted than usual which provided even more laughs for us.
Aren’t we just Gorg. Supa Fly Kidx
By the time we were Halfway through the night, I’m sure everyone was seeing me double. Lol!
I be representin’ though
Lots of love from me to you!!! Do you see a heart? <3
There goes Price’s hands again. He always manages to get into my pictures somehow!!
On Thursday night, I attended the Hutch by Design Red Carpet event at the $3 Dollar Tavern. Sounds contradictory right?!? Well that’s what made the night an epic one. We all got right on three dollar drinks all night. We had so much fun!! Sean was busy for most of the night, and Billy has other ratchet pics of him and I.
All of my Closest friends were there which made it even better! Although I didn’t get pics of everyone. there goes Coley and I!!
Hara and I!! Awww I miss the days when we all had not a care in the world.
And here I am taking a moment to get my mind back on the money, because the money is the motive
All in all it was an awesome night!! Can’t wait for their next event. Hope to see you there too!!
Sometimes in life events do not occur exactly as we may want them to, or in the time frame that we may prefer.
Sometimes we over analyze things and worry ourselves to death about things that we cannot control.
Sometimes we feel like the support system that we need isn’t present in our lives.
And then Sometimes we feel like our tears go in vain.
Lately I’ve gotten tired of the “keep your head up” and the “keep on pushing” or even the “nothing happens before its time”.
But in the end of it all you realize that YOU are your own support system at all times. Only you can cause yourself to fail. YOUR efforts will shape your life and all that you achieve. YOUR destiny depends on you only along with your ability to push on and appreciate your own life. YOU Have the ability to utilize all of the opportunities that you are given in life. Whether they may be positive or negative. WORK hard towards all of the benefits you would like to reap in the long and short run. Be positive, upbeat and focus intently on the good more than you do the bad.
In other words, when life gives you lemons, Make sure YOU find a way to make Cotton Candy.
On Sunday afternoon, while moving my design studio back to Brooklyn w the help of my boyfriend, I was listening to one of the motivational speeches that he often makes me listen to with him.
The person speaking was David Pietsch. (And let me tell you) That man knows exactly what he is speaking about. I felt as if he was speaking directly to only me through the speakers. He was reconfirming everything that goes on in this busy mind of mine as far as the current education system and finances are concerned.
One of the things that stood out to me the most was his reference to T.Harv Eker’s book. “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering The Inner Game of Wealth”. This book seeks to differentiate the way individuals (rich and poor) process their interaction with Money.
He was kind enough to give 17 Monetary thought comparisons between the rich and the poor.
I thought these were extremely interesting as well as amazingly accurate, And I was happy to evaluate myself according to this list. I was also delighted to find that I had more in common with the “Wealthy” thought process. And I look forward to in the near future, eliminating the few “poor” thought processes from my psyche.
For your convenience and full understanding, I have provided the list beneath.
Please do Enjoy! You can also evaluate your own thought process.
Wealthy people believe, “I create my life.” Poor people believe, “Life happens to me.”
Wealthy people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
Wealthy people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich.

Wealthy people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.

Wealthy people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion.
Wealthy people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems.
Wealthy people are excellent receivers. Poor people are poor receivers.
Wealthy people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time.
Wealthy people think “both”. Poor people think “either/or”.
Wealthy people focus on their net worth. Poor people focus on their working income.
Wealthy people manage their money well. Poor people mismanage their money well.
Wealthy people have their money work hard for them. Poor people work hard for their money.
Wealthy people act in spite of fear. Poor people let fear stop them.

Sorry to get so serious. But I love to write. I found something that I wrote exactly a year ago yesterday (2.19.11) And I am in such a different place in just a year. It’s absolutely amazing!
This is what I wrote to myself.
Lately Life has been in total shambles! God only knows, I forgot about myself, who I was, the things I wanted, The things I always dreamed of, My own potential (most of all). Im a very deep woman, strong woman, intelligent woman. God has truly blessed me, theres no limit to what I can do or what I can achieve. I sadly forgot all of these things! I recently found a quote, “Great Trials often Precede Great Triumphs”. I truly believe this statement! If there are so many people who do not even know their potential and they make it to certain places, then who am I? I know where I am going, and Gods knows that I know where I have been. The most important thing you can do as a person is to believe that you are a good person. People try to make you feel like you aren’t worth certain things or like your dreams are foolish. Listen, Listen to yourself, Listen to your heart, Listen to all you believe God has put you this earth for. Pray, Be strong. Never let the Dream Stealers Steal you Dreams. Because your dreams are all youll ever have to lead you and guide the way. They are your torch in that tunnel of darkness. Be yourself!!! Don’t ever try to be someone else or embody them because the person that lives inside of you is even more special than anyone you have ever came across. Shit Happens, plans may fail, But if your a Great Dreamer, that nothing but a thing because it means that you have so many other plans to pull out of your dream vault. If God realizes that you are not in a situation where you can reach your full potential, or be the person he created you to be he will remove you from that situation. When he does something just simply go with the flow, because whenever you stumble your guaranteed to hit the ground running right after!! Never have someone dictate the way you feel about yourself. If that dictation is not positive, God knows its not healthy. Just trust in him and your true self. (end)
Wowwww. Never let someone tell you to be realistic. There’s nothing real out here. Just keep dreaming. Hope I can inspire just one person.
